Urja Global Launched Solar Powered E-Rickshaw ‘Urja Rath’ on World Environment Day in India

Urja Global Limited on the World Environment Day, launched Solar Powered E-Rickshaw – Urja Rath with its state of the art Make In Make Modules, Charge Controllers and Batteries, says recent company announcement to BSE India

It is is one of India’s leading Non Renewable and Renewable Energy developers and operators. It engaged in design, consultancy, integration, supply, installation, commissioning & maintenance of off-grid and grid connected Solar Power Plants. They are approved Channel Partners of Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Govt. of India.

Urja envisions commercializing the same which will come with a marginal cost difference of Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 20,000 in comparison to the ordinary operated E-rickshaws.
When sunlight falls on Urja Modules, safety installed at the rickshaw top, generating DC energy, which then charges the battery through the Smart Urja Charge controller, delivering optimum charge to the batteries.

It also charges while waiting in traffic and in parking mode, albeit in running condition also, a portion of the solar energy along with battery power the motor. 
It has multiple benefits reducing starting load on batteries and saving deep discharge which automatically increase battery life. The Urja Rath can also be charge during night time with a separate solar charging station.
The company aims their order book would exponentially increase due to high demand in Rural India and also it will simultaneously contributing towards the mission of Hon’ble Indian Prime Minister Shree Narendra Modi.
