A Team led by Hans Lothar Köhl Developed the Rice Straw Power Project for Clean Renewable Energy

Rice Straw Power stands for clean, renewable energy and resources of rice straw. The Rice Straw Power Project was started in 2006 by Hans Lothar Köhl and the official company was founded in 2015. The project is focused on reducing air pollution caused due to open burning of crop fields after yielding. This rice straw project has now reached its final stage after years of project development.

After spending several years in research and study, Mr. Köhl along with many other volunteers developed better ways to rot the rice straw which will not cause any methane contamination or air pollution. The aim of the project is to provide clean renewable energy and resources by doing efforts to reduce pollution as well as wastage of energy and renewable resources.

This initiative came alive along with the coordination with Ms. Thi Minh Ngo from Vietnam in East Germany. There are several advantages of this rice straw project. This energy project will facilitate in creation of heating and building materials from rice straw. Reports have stated that this is an environmentally safe project and would definitely safeguard the environment. Several problems of the world are going to get resolved after the successful completion of this initiative.   

Under the project, the volunteers have developed facilities that will create heating and building materials from the rice straw. This project will not only resolve the problem of air pollution due to smoke emerging from the burning rice straw but will also provide a source of income to many poor families.

The project is focused on poverty-stricken areas of countries such as Asia, Africa, and India where rice is grown in a large amount annually. Thousands of families in these countries are involved in farming and through this project, they can earn extra income.  

Overall, the Rice straw project will help safeguard the climate; provide clean renewable sources of energy along with resolving the problem of hunger and poverty. The project has gained quite a popularity over different media channels and social networks which have brought it in front of the eyes of several people and organizations.      

The team, associated with Rice Straw Power is aimed to solve the hunger and housing problems of the world, especially in the poor countries of Asia, India, and Africa.  

Since last year the project is all set to be started and invites public and private investors for a partnership. In January 2016 the project applied for the Zayed Future Energy Price from the United Arab Emirates in 2017.   

They are looking for investors and partners around the world for the epochal project.
