It truly an eco-friendly transport that reduces an air contamination, ecological footprints, carbon emissions, for our health and finally very inexpensive alternative.
The continual depletion of fossil fuels and elevated fuel cost will encourage more people to use an electric bicycle or bike in coming years.
Now, Sir Clive’s nephew Grant Sinclair has created a new version of the C5 through a company called ‘Grant Sinclair Design’ and it could become a grand success.

Iris eTrike, an electric vehicle is a single-seater electrically assisted pedal vehicle.
Many improvements have been incorporated in this new version, such as an all-weather cockpit, a top speed of 30 mph (48 kph) and a sufficient storage space.

The design of eTrike got inspiration from an aero helmet used for Velo cycling and crash helmets for skiing.

It has a Chromoly steel trike chassis set inside a monocoque Quantum Foam EPP body along with LED headlamps, turns indicators, and brake lights.
A removable Lithium-Ion battery pack gives a range of up to 50 miles on a one-hour charge!
Its 750 watt motor along with puncture proof Tannes slicks tyres as well as twist grips for throttle and gear selection make it efficient and attractive.
This hybrid electric/pedal-powered tricycle, weighs only 55 kg includes battery and charger, is faster and safer than an earlier version of C5 along with attractive all weathers canopy.
