Fastest Snapdragon Processors That You Can Buy
The smartphone market is going to new heights day by day with new smartphones having excellent features getting launched every week. The number of smartphone users has rapidly increased over the past couple of years due to the amazing features and benefits that these smartphones provide.
Many new smartphone manufacturing companies have also arrived in the market seeing the increasing demand and craze for smartphones. Many of our day-to-day tasks are getting simplified using this excellent device and thanks to the processor due to which we are able to perform multi-tasking.
A processor is that component of the phone which is responsible for the amazing computation power which provides superior fast performance. There are many processor manufacturing companies like Intel, Qualcomm, AMD, etc. which make awesome processors be integrated with the pc and mobiles.
In the smartphone world, Qualcomm is the current king which makes amazing processors for the phones and due to it, we are able to perform multitasking without any lag. The Snapdragon 600 series of Qualcomm is widely popular. Today in this post, Technographx will provide you detail information about the Snapdragon 600 series of Qualcomm which is giving a solid standing to the company in the processor business and also provide a comparison between Snapdragon 660 vs 636.
The Snapdragon 600 series is having a number of processors in it. The naming system of the processors of this series is not that simple and so it could be difficult for you to keep track of the position of the processor. For instance, the Snapdragon 630 processor which got launched in 2017 is far better than the Snapdragon 632 which got recently launched.
The naming screw-ups are intentional and it might be done for keeping the general public guessing. There are five chips in this series namely the Snapdragon 660, Snapdragon 636, Snapdragon 632, Snapdragon 630, and Snapdragon 625.
The division of this series is further done into two sections – The lower and upper mid-range. Snapdragon 660 and 636 fall in the upper mid-range category and rest of the processors fall in the Lower mid-range.
SD 660 and SD 636 are one of the most powerful chips of this series. SD 660 was the first chip to use the custom Kryo cores in 2017 and then SD 636 joined it in the same year. SD 632 is also having the custom cores but it doesn’t fall in this category.
As per the naming conventions, anyone would think that the SD 636 is much closer to SD632 and SD630 but they are wrong. In fact, it is closer to SD 660. Both of these processors are having similar CPU specifications. Both the processors also have the same custom Kryo 260 cores in a 4+4 cluster. Snapdragon 660 vs 636 comparisons is also very close.
